After the second Harry Potter book was released (forever and a day ago), i figured it wouldn't hurt to read the first. and from there, i was hooked. i've always enjoyed the books tremendously. Due to my lack of financial freedom, i didn't get to enjoy watching Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in the theatre, but i did get to rent it. and now i'm really hooked.
so way to go Harry! i can't wait until the 15th of November for the movie release of The Chamber of Secrets. ..i'm curious as to how they'll portray the parselmouth ability? June 3, 2003 seems so far away, but i know i'll be reading the next book soon as well--i hope that the rumoured date of almost a year away is wrong, and we'll be enjoying Harry's 5th year at Hogwarts before too long!
(all this Potter-ishness doesn't hurt my love of owls either ...)
So if you get the chance, read about the wonderful world of Mr. Harry Potter, imagined and created by J.K. Rowling. The screenplay adaptation is very good as well. And perhaps we'll be seeing dark robes and magic wands at Halloween this year. ..
